27 June 2000 Last date for comments and suggestions to the SDC. 18 July 2000 The Electoral Arrangements Sub-Committee meets at 7pm at the Council Chambers to formulate a scheme. 18 July 2000 The Policy and Resources Committee meets the same evening to accept the sub-committee's scheme. 25 July 2000 The Full Council meets to ratify the Council's submission to the LGCE. 31 July 2000 Last date to submit a scheme to the LGCE. 17 October 2000 LGCE published draft recomendations and consultation period starts. 11 December 2000 Last date to submit views on the draft report to the LGCE. April-June 2001 LGCE issues a final report. May 2003 New arrangements come into force. |
