M25 Resurfacing The entire carriageway of the M25 from Junction 5 (Sevenoaks) to Clacket Lane Services is to be resurfaced. The work is due to start in March 2001 and last for about 10 weeks. The work includes reconstruction of the carriageways, some widening and extra lighting adjacent to junction 5. It is believed that the new top surface will reduce the vehicle noise at source. | ||

From the Obit Report they say "But even with an optimum road user charging system, the M25 would still need to be widened between Junctions 16 and 23, 27 and 31, 1 and 3, and 5 and 7, almost certainly by one lane only in each direction." So it looks as if the section through Well Hill will not be afected. |
