Sevenoaks District Council, as the District Planning Authority, pursuant to powers in the above mentioned Act and Order, HEREBY REFUSES PLANNING PERMISSION for the development described above, FOR THE FOLLOWING REASON(S) :

The land lies within the Metropolitan Green Belt where strict policies of restraint apply. The proposal would be inappropriate development harmful to the maintenance of the character of the Green Belt and to its openness. As no very special circumstances have been put forward the proposal is considered to conflict with policy H14B and the advice and guidance within PPG2.
